You can't be a born human rights activist but you can become it. The Foundation employees participate in different seminars and trainings on human rights. Sometimes we are invited as experts, and we gladly accept these invitations and share our experience with our colleagues.

On February 18-22, the Mother's Right Foundation lawyer, Tatiana Sladkova, took part in the first tour of the business game ‘Application to European Court of Human Rights' (organized by the International Protection Centre).

On February 19, the Chairlady of the Mother's Right Foundation Board, Veronika Marchenko, took part in the enlarged session of the GOPP under the title ‘Results of Work of Offices of Public Prosecutor on Strengthening Law and Order in 2007 and Discussion of Aims and Purposes for 2008.'

On March 27, the Chairlady of the Mother's Right Foundation Board, Veronika Marchenko, took part in the joint session of the Boards of the GOPP and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation under the title ‘On Maintenance of Law in Legislation Concerning Higher and Postgraduate Law Education'.

On April 29, the Chairlady of the Mother's Right Foundation Board, Veronika Marchenko, took part in the session of the Scientific Consulting Council of the GOPP under the title ‘Preparing for Parliament Hearing on Theme: "Role and Place of Offices of Public Prosecutor in System of State Institutions in Russia"'.

On June 8-15, the Mother's Right Foundation lawyer, Tatiana Sladkova, took part in the second tour of the business game ‘Application to European Court of Human Rights' (organized by the International Protection Centre).

On November 19, the press-secretary of the Mother's Right Foundation, Anna Kashirtseva, took part in the Second Forum ‘Charity in Russia: Problems and Prospects for Development'.

On October 26-31, the Mother's Right Foundation lawyer, Zarema Yusupova, had a training course within the frame of the program ‘European Protection of Human Rights' (organized by the International Protection Centre).

On November 27, the Chairlady of the Mother's Right Foundation Board, Veronika Marchenko, took part in the session of the Scientific Consulting Council of the GOPP under the title ‘Role of Office of Public Prosecutor in Protecting Rights of Legal Persons'.
