09. WORK WITH VOLUNTEERS AND PROBATIONERS

Volunteers come to the Foundation in their free time and help us for free. Some of them have been helping us for years. For instance, Misha C., who was in Chechnya, and Alexey P. are our true helpers always ready ‘to reanimate' our old equipment or carry our mail to the post office, etc. We are really short-handed without our volunteers: a significant volume of our work (delivery of our newspapers, letters and parcels, calls to our clients, updating of our databases) is accomplished thanks to their assistance. Some volunteers give us professional assistance: translators translate our documents; psychologists give consultations to parents of dead soldiers. There's no end to our work, because every year thousands of servicemen die in the Army, and their parents apply to the Foundation. That's why we are always in search of volunteers. In 2008, the Foundation continued using an innovation method of finding volunteers - through job sites. We are grateful to those who gave their unselfish assistance in 2008:

Alevtina, Anna, Julia Alennikova, Alexandra Beloded, Anastasia Berezina, Efim Grigoryevich Grossman, Ludmila Golikova, Elena Dolmatova, Elena, Julia Zelenskaya, Ekaterina Karpova, Tatiana Kirillova, Olga Klimova, Nadezhda Kovtun, Natalia Komarova, Elena Grigorievna Kuliyeva, Julia Larina, Lubov Leonova, Elena Lee, Anna Morgunova, Dmitry Morozov, Natalia Ordinartseva, Maria Ponomarenko, Alexandra Park, Alexey Popov, Ksenia Prakhova, Ekaterina Merkurievna Sedova, Mikhail Selivanov, Anna Slepicheva, Sergey Smirnov, Olga Sokolova, Yevgeny Chegis, Anastasia Chembarisova, Lubov Sherbakova, Ludmila Shiryaeva, Julia.
